How to find a Walmart receipt in the app or online

For Walmart US, first check Account → Purchase History in the app or on Walmart.com. For a missing card-paid store purchase, use Walmart’s receipt lookup.

Find an order in the Walmart app

Select the purchase in Purchase History and check its totals and payment details. Walmart identifies the order barcode as proof of purchase. To print, open Walmart.com, choose Purchase History → View details for the order, then the print icon. Walmart: finding and printing receipts.

Look up a lost store receipt

1. Open Walmart’s official receipt lookup.
2. Enter the store location and purchase date.
3. Supply the card type, last four digits and receipt total.
4. Complete the verification, run the lookup and download the result.

Why a store purchase may be absent

Automatic store history depends on a saved payment card and matching name; store-purchase privacy settings also matter. If you still have the paper receipt, scan its barcode with the app’s search-bar scanner. Walmart: linking store purchases.

Before retrying a failed lookup, check that you have the full transaction total rather than the price of one item. If the result still does not match, use the help route on Walmart’s site with the location and payment information ready. Save a usable copy

When printing from a browser, you can choose Save as PDF if your device offers it. Open the saved file and make sure all items and totals are included. Keep the original download for your records rather than only a cropped image of the amount.
