How to find receipts with Flybuys: check the Coles app
For an itemised Coles receipt, start in the Coles app. Coles directs shoppers there for digital receipts; a fuel docket in Flybuys is a different record.
Find the receipt in Coles
- Sign in to your Coles account in the Coles app.
- Open More → Payment history.
- Choose the shop and download its PDF receipt.
On the website, use Account → Orders → Instore orders. Coles says in-store digital receipts usually appear within a minute; close and reopen the app if a new shop has not appeared. Does scanning Flybuys guarantee a receipt?
Do not assume that earning points means a PDF was saved. Coles’s documented setup uses your Coles barcode at checkout. Linking Flybuys to that Coles account lets the same scan collect points. Check the account used for the shop before changing settings. Coles: barcode and Flybuys guidance.
If the shop is missing
For an older or unlinked transaction, ask the store whether a copy can be found. Have the date, location, amount and payment method ready. Changing today’s receipt preferences is useful for future shops, but should not be treated as a promise to restore past receipts.
If you ordered online, check the online order rather than the in-store list, and search your email for the order number. For purchases at another Flybuys partner, start with that retailer’s own account or customer service; the Coles steps above are specific to Coles in Australia.
Keep the downloaded PDF
Open it to confirm the items and final total before filing it. Keep an independent copy if you will need it after it disappears from the app. A points-activity screenshot can help narrow down a shop, but does not replace an itemised receipt.
